10 festivals you have to be from Southern Illinois to understand

The Southern Illinoisan looks at ten festivals that only those from Southern Illinois can truly appreciate. The list includes the upcoming Superman Festival for its native son in Metropolis, where festival goers can celebrate with costumes and celebrity appearances (June 8-11).
