CHICAGO TRIBUNE: Celebrity speakers’ messages to the Class of 2017

The Chicago Tribune is reporting, “What do Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and actor Robert DeNiro have in common?

Each of them generated a fair amount of notoriety recently for their commencement speeches to various assemblages of the Class of 2017.

Harvard University dropout Zuckerberg returned to the school to tell graduates to create a world where everyone has purpose. Wellesley College alum Clinton talked politics at her alma mater. DeNiro called America a comedy, and not a good one, in a speech at Brown University.

There were plenty of other pithy lines delivered from lecterns across the U.S. to college graduates who sat through speeches short and oh-so-long before they grabbed their diplomas and ventured into the real world.
