CIPROUD: The Baby Fold To Close Residential Services Due to a lack of state funding

Central Illinois Proud is reporting, “The baby fold in Bloomington is discontinuing their residential services program starting June 30th.

14 children currently depend on the program, which helped remove children facing abuse or neglect from their homes.

The Baby Fold’s Vice President of Development Aimee Beam says the program was precious to them and the children. The lack of a state budget is the reason for the close. Her and her staff have been working to ensure the children all have a new home, come the end of June…”
