The State Journal-Register is reporting, “Illinois lawmakers voted Wednesday to override changes Gov. Bruce Rauner made to a bill needed to implement the new school funding formula.
Both the House and Senate voted to override Rauner’s amendatory veto of Senate Bill 444. The bill will now take effect as it was originally planned.
