The Peoria Journal Star is reporting, “When it comes to preparing a community for a disaster, individuals count.

“When you prepare yourself, you are helping way more than yourself,” said Troy Erbentraut, manager of the disaster preparedness office at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center. “You are helping the community, your neighbors, family, the police, firemen and EMS. Every step you take helps with the preparedness for everyone.”
