JOURNAL STAR: Peoria Jaycees International Beer Fest boasts more than 300 beers from 125 brewers

The Peoria Journal Star is reporting, “The longest-running international beer festival in America returns this spring to Exposition Gardens with another vast trove of eclectic beers to sample from local, regional, domestic and international brewers.

The 26th Annual Peoria Jaycees Beer Festival, which will be on April 13 and 14 this year, will feature more than 300 different beers from almost 125 different breweries. All different styles of brews will be represented: porters, India pale ales, sours, Hefeweizens, stouts, lagers and many others.

Festival co-chairwoman Kristina Peckmann said that this year’s event will bring a renewed focus on draft beers, with more available on tap than from the bottle in previous years, as well as pushing attendees toward unique selections…”
