REGISTER STAR: Pilot uninjured in small-engine plane crash at Rockford airport

The Rockford Register Star is reporting, “The pilot of a small plane that crashed about 9:30 a.m. Monday at Chicago Rockford International Airport did not suffer any injuries and is in good condition, a news release from an airport representative said.

The pilot was the sole occupant of the Cessna 182 that crashed on a runway near Blackhawk and Falcon roads.

It was en route to Rockford from Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa, according to the Federal Aviation Administration…”
