TRIBUNE: At least 15 trains halted as police investigate unattended luggage at Ogilvie

The Chicago Tribune is reporting, “At least 15 trains were held up at Ogilvie Transportation Center for about two hours Wednesday while police investigated two pieces of unattended luggage on the second level, officials said.

Metra police spotted the bags shortly before 10:30 a.m. in an area between the revolving doors and where the trains stop, according to Metra spokesman Michael Gillis.

Metra contacted the Chicago Police Department, which dispatched a bomb squad to the station at 500 W. Madison Street, according to a police spokesman…”
