TRIBUNE: Brent Seabrook scores Blackhawks’ only goal in 2-1 loss to Wild

The Chicago Tribune is reporting, “Brent Seabrook’s first goal since the first game of the season was the first — and last — the Blackhawks scored Wednesday night in their 2-1 loss to the Wild at the United Center.

Fresh off the first healthy scratch of his career the night before, Seabrook swatted the puck past Devan Dubnyk and then sat again, waiting to see whether the goal would withstand the scrutiny of replay after the Wild challenged the Hawks were offside with 7 minutes, 36 seconds left in the first period.

The goal stood and the Blackhawks showered Seabrook with high-fives and pats on the back, including one from coach Joel Quenneville, but it wasn’t enough…”
