The Chicago Tribune is reporting, “A storm developing over the Canadian Rockies could dump up to 9 inches of snow on the Chicago area over 24 hours starting late Thursday.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from 11 p.m. Thursday to 11 p.m. Friday. “Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Friday,” the weather service warned. “Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches are possible.”
The heaviest band of snow is expected along Interstate 80 and to the north. The watch area includes Cook, DuPage, Will and Lake counties and, in Indiana, Lake and Porter counties…”
