TRIBUNE: Rauner campaign stops airing TV ad that featured Missouri governor who admitted affair

The Chicago Tribune is reporting, “Republican Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner’s campaign has stopped airing a TV ad that featured the Missouri governor who has admitted to an extra-marital affair, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

Rauner campaign spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski said the spot featuring Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb came down after Wednesday’s release of a new ad featuring audio of Democratic governor candidate J.B. Pritzker talking to disgraced former Gov. Rod Blagojevich about a possible job.
