The Chicago Tribune is reporting, “More than 41 million people will travel in the United States over Memorial Day weekend — the most to take to the roads and skies since the heady pre-recession years — and the AAA travel club is giving a little heads-up about when Chicago’s highways and airports may be the most clogged.

In fact, it’s a fairly specific forecast: Congestion is estimated to be 2.1 times worse on Chicago roadways from 4-6 p.m. Friday , as commuters mix with holiday travelers. Take the Dan Ryan at your own peril…”
